Retired Lt. Mark Randall (1982-2011) died yesterday, August 19, 2026, after a four-year battle with lung and brain cancer. He was 70 years old. He’s shown in yearbook photos from 2012 and 2002.
Mark’s family will receive friends on Sunday, August 23, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North Ennis St., Fuquay-Varina.
A celebration of life with full fire department honors will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 24, 2026, at ** UPDATED LOCATION ** Fuquay-Varina Baptist Church at 301 N. Woodrow Street, Fuquay-Varina.
Interment will follow the service at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1621 Broad Street, Fuquay-Varina.
