By popular demand, the new Raleigh Fire Department yearbook is available again. The price is $75. A second and final set of orders will accepted, for those who didn’t order the book the first time.
From August 18 to September 18, members of the Raleigh Fire Department can order the book. See your internal announcement.
Beginning September 18 through November 18, the book will be available for online and public orders. Check back for the order link in September.

Yearbook update. They recently arrived and distribution is starting soon. And we’ve added a glossy, wrap-around dust cover as a bonus!
For active RFD members, yours will be distributed internally. Watch for the blue bags. For retirees and friends of RFD, you’ll be contacted with directions on where to pick up.
If you ordered a digital version, check your email. Those directions were transmitted a couple weeks ago. Look for a message from picabooyearbooks.com.
Thanks for everyone’s support. The 200-page books look GREAT. And watch for a special second order announcement closer to Christmas, if you missed your chance to order one the first time.
And for those curious on how we did it, detailed production notes are coming. This is the department’s fifth commemorative book, following volumes in 1984, 2002, 2007, and 2012.

The Raleigh Fire Department is producing a new yearbook for 2025, the first since the centennial anniversary edition in 2012. Family and friends of the fire department can now order copies.
Books are $70 each, digital versions are $10. The deadline for ordering is January 16, 2024. Online ordering only, no point of sale availability.
The yearbook will have 200+ full-color pages, with portraits of all personnel. With station pages, crew photos, truck photos, retiree photos, candid shots, and more.
