A sale is pending on the truck. Thank you for your interest. We will update this posting once the truck is sold, or if it becomes available again.
Last year, the Raleigh Fire Museum received a donation of a 1934 Studebaker fire engine, with extra parts and equipment. We are selling the truck as a parts vehicle plus equipment as a fundraiser.
We’re now asking $500 or better offer.
Buyer must purchase the truck and all accompanying parts.
Buyer is responsible for pick-up and transport.

About The Truck
It was previously stored in a barn in Johnston County. The prior owner was in the process of restoring the vehicle. This vehicle was retrieved and brought to its current location, in Four Oaks, NC, on March 27, 2024. The vehicle is being sold as a Parts Vehicle. It was owned by the town of Parmele, NC, for a period of time. The original title from 1977 will be provided, for documentation of authenticity.
The truck has a Chevrolet motor installed. Also included is a second motor, possibly original. The second motor is disassembled. Also included are two pumps, both very heavy. Also included are five sets of hard suction hose, two sets of two-section wooden ladders, and other assorted small parts and equipment. The body is detached from the chassis. The water tank is detached and sitting upright. The tires are newish.
Hi, nice to see a 34 firetruck from Studebaker. Even it it no longer are truely authentic with replacement engine and front disc brakes, the vehicle still has the correct display properties. Hope you will have a good sale and that the truck will be cared for as these rare ones need to have a TLC home.
I have a 1935 version, model 1T241 under restoration. This has not been a fire truck, but rather a flat bed since my grandfather purchased it new in June 35. Have to mention that this one was purchased in Bergen, Norway. I have managed to keep the stock style flathead six 230 cid engine and drivetrain.
