Retired Raleigh Fire Captain Ronald K. Wilson passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2024. He was 68 years old.
Captain Wilson was hired in May 1980 and served in various capacities throughout his career. He retired in June 2006 as a Fire Captain/Deputy Fire Marshal in the Office of the Fire Marshal. He retired with 26 years of service.
His family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 26, at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale.
On Friday, September 27, a celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Wake Cross Roads Baptist Church, 3328 Forestville Road, Raleigh. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
