It’s a big week this week in Raleigh with the South Atlantic Fire Rescue Expo at the Raleigh Convention Center. Here’s your starter pack on what’s happening with our museum, our booth at the expo, and related activities.
Show floor hours are Friday from 10 to 5, and Saturday from 9 to 2. We are at Booth 316. We will have merchandise for sale, including new challenge coins for 2024. And you’ll hear about our funeral caisson fundraiser.
On Saturday, our fire museum will be open from 10 to 2. We’re located about a mile south of the Raleigh Convention Center at 105 Keeter Center Drive.
Also on Saturday, the Raleigh Fire Department will fire up their 1905 steam engine at 2:00 p.m. on the Cabarrus Street side of the convention center. It’s a must-see!
