Here’s our annual report for 2020. It provides an administrative update of organizational activities from January 1 to December 31, 2020.
Because we cancelled our monthly openings beginning March 2020, our museum had a greatly reduced number of visitors last year. Our second-Saturday openings should resume soon, in late spring or early summer. Watch our web site for more information.
Among our other organizational highlights: adopted new branding designs in February, designed a new station history plaque in March, relocated one of our antiques to a new storage location in April, received new branded ballcaps in May, joined SPAAMFAA in August, and participated in the re-creation of a historical photo in December.
Thank you, all. We greatly appreciate the support of our staff, our members, our donors, and, most importantly, the members and the leadership of the City of Raleigh Fire Department. Our success is a function of your support. Also, a special thanks to the staff of the Professional Development division, and their invaluable operational help, year after year.
