    The Raleigh Fire Museum presented a newly restored nineteenth century hand hose reel at the Raleigh Fireman's Ball on Saturday, November 17. Read more.

    The fire museum is open this Saturday, October 13, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. As a special program, Historian Mike Legeros will give an an hour-long presentation at 12:00 p.m. on the history of the Raleigh Fire Department.

    Vintage photos from the Raleigh Fireman's Club have been posted, part of the photo research being conducted for the Raleigh Fire Department Centennial History Book.

    The Raleigh Fire Museum is open on Saturday, September 8, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The museum is open on the second Saturday of each month, and is located in a classroom trailer at 105 Keeter Center Drive, Raleigh.

    The Raleigh Fire Museum is open during its regular hours this weekend, on Saturday, August 11, from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. If you are attending the South Atlantic Fire Rescue Expo at the convention center, free shuttle service will be provided. Visit the Raleigh Fire Department booth to purchase centennial merchandise. Or read more about historical activities planned at the Expo.
